Today was a great start to the 2023 flying season with about two dozen members enjoying our Annual New Year’s Day event at the field and afterwards at Ron Fannes’ home. The weather was decent with an occasional stiff 10+mph breeze. The new winter enclosure was well used and very comfortable, with just natural solar heating. As always, Ron did a wonderful job arranging for the food and opening up his home for a nice comfortable lunch. Thank you all who brought extra goodies. There was no lack of great treats. Look forward to seeing you all at the field this winter, staying warm in our new field club house.
