Our flying field at Mitchell Farm is the result of many years of hard work by hundreds of our members.  They plowed the terrain, then re-plowed it in the opposite direction.  Trees were cut down to clear the runway approach.  Sheds and protective awnings were constructed, safety fencing was installed and painted.  The final product is a beautiful flying strip with panoramic views that are hard to beat.
