Bob Motta was absent from the meeting. Cliff stated that membership is currently full.

Field Review:

Cliff mentioned that the Southbury and Newtown fields are both in good shape.

Sound & Safety:

Gino mentioned that a person was recently killed by a model airplane. Again planes should not fly toward the pits at field at any time. Call out any high speed low passes over the field.

Old Business:

No old business was discussed.

New Business:

Cliff mentioned that during the year only one individual was hurt by a model engine. So far it has been a good year. Also if you are doing an odd pattern over the field call it out.

A thanks was given to those who helped at the recent High School fly day.

Also mentioned was that next month meeting will have a tag sale so bring in what you want to get rid of.

During the first week in November people will be needed at Southbury to spread dirt on the field. Please bring shovels and rakes.

A discussion of redoing the field differently by a professional was discussed. Todd will talk to someone to redo the field and will get back to the club on the details. Because of this proposal the work party will be postponed.

Ken will be in charge of the RAM N.J. bus again this year. A proposal to donate the old Southbury lawnmower to a local school was voted down.

On Frank Allen death his sister said that he had a lot of model airplane stuff for sale and if anyone wants to go to his home to look it over it would be O.K. with her. Cliff will go there first to look at what he has.

Park flyers who fly at the club fields must be club members with an AMA Card.

On January 1, 2014 the club meeting building will be closed and Cliff proposed canceling the meeting. The proposal was voted on and approved.

The new club calendar which is attached was voted on and approved.

Club dues are due be December 31 or you are out of the club.

Members should have a fire extinguisher at the field when they fly.

Paul Ivy volunteered to show club members how to install spring loaded hatch.

Dave Baron will be asked to attend a meeting and discuss electrics.
