February 4, 2015 Club Meeting


   Meeting Minutes Archive


General Business:

Cliff Becker began the meeting and read the previous club notes. A motion to accept the notes was proposed and a vote was taken to accept the club notes. 

Treasurer Report:

Brian was absent from the meeting. 


Bob Motta said that there are currently 90 members in the club. Ten people are also on waiting list. Some members still have not paid there $15 surcharge. 

Members that have not paid the additional surcharge will not be allowed to fly at the field. 

Field Review:

Cliff mentioned that the Southbury field has had a great deal of snow. 

Sound & Safety:

Gino mentioned that members retrieving their airplanes should be careful walking and leaving prints in the snow.

Old Business:

Cliff mentioned the bus to the RAM show is full. The Isen Glass at the field is installed and will need to be worked on in the spring. 

New Business:

Cliff mentioned that a Drone was flown and crashed over the White House. New club members were introduced. Membership cards should be ready next month. Indoor electric flying is now open at the following locations:

Primrose Road, Fairfield Hills, Newtown from 9 to 11 PM Fridays only $10 Per Visit.

Danbury 6 to 8 AM Sunday only $10 Per Visit.

Show and Tell:

Cliff brought in a number of free items. Also he brought in a Top Flite Corsair which is partially completed. The plane is powered by a G-45 engine. Cliff used spray on Latex Paint. Plane should be ready for the Spring.
