Secretary Report

 December 4, 2012 Club Meeting

   

   Meeting Minutes Archive

 

General Business:

Cliff Becker began the meeting and read the previous club notes. A motion and vote was taken to accept the previous club notes. 

Treasurer Report:

Brian reviewed expenses and income since the last meeting. Also read was a Budget for 2013 was read and discussed. A vote was taken and the Treasurers Report was accepted. 

Membership:

Bob Motta reviewed club membership and said that currently 30 members that have not paid. 

Field Review:

Cliff mentioned that the Southbury field is in great shape. Also a load of top soil will be delivered to the Southbury field for resurfacing the road.

Sound & Safety:

Gino had no comment.

Old Business:

An election of officers for the club was conducted and all the previous officers were re elected. 

New Business:

Cliff mentioned the January1, fly-in to be held at the Southbury field. We currently have no one's home to go to that day but we will work on it. 

Club member Vinnie has proposed that the club allow night flying only for electric planes. We will need to amend the club rules to allow night flying. A motion to accept this proposal was voted on and accepted. 

A discussion of a new secondary field in Plymouth, Connecticut was proposed. Pictures of the new field were shown to members. A proposal to have a few other clubs to share the field with us was made. 

Andy Figlar, Associate VP District 1 of the AMA reviewed the field with members. He discussed some damages caused by kids in the area. Members were in agreement on the new field. 

The RAM show is coming up in February and we will organize a bus to the show. We will review the plans at the next meeting.
